Stress is one of the most commonly experienced mental health concerns. The symptoms can become overwhelming, self-perpetuating, and lead to feelings of helplessness. Are you finding it difficult to concentrate, continually fearing the worst, having memory lapses, drinking, smoking or eating more, suffering from headaches, muscle pains or have trouble sleeping? All these can be associated with stress. This workshop explores a holistic understanding of the causes, impact, and treatment of stress.
A strengths-based approach is explored that considers the whole person, separate from the problem. Participants will learn practical skills for building motivation and setting realistic goals. The workshop is designed to meet the needs of those that recognize the presence of stress in their lives and wish to take steps to deal with it.
